• CENTRAL DISPATCH

  Our plants and mixers are operated through a central dispatch office, allowing for direct connection to a knowledgeable dispatcher to guide clients through daily operations. Vehicle tracking and load notifications are available upon request.

• OFF-HOUR DELIVERIES

  We will deliver concrete and aggregates to your job site at any specified time. We understand project conditions sometimes require off-hour operations. Castor Materials operates 24 hours a day if needed. We will accommodate deliveries after 5 p.m. or before 6 a.m. — contact our office for off-hour pricing.

• QUALITY CONTROL TESTING

  ACI-certified personnel monitor product quality at the plant and on-site. We conduct laboratory testing to maintain project specifications. Testing is performed daily.

• SMALL MIXERS

  Take advantage of our smaller 4.5 cubic yard barrel trucks that can deliver loads for smaller projects, save fuel, and go where our larger trucks can’t.

• FRONT AND REAR DISCHARGE TRUCKS

  48 mixers, including both front and rear discharge trucks, are available for rent.

• TRUCK WEIGHT COMPLIANCE

  Our small mixers are so light, you’ll never have to worry about weight restrictions on highways or bridges again. At only 12’ 6” tall, they can also drive underneath most bridges.

• JOB-SITE COORDINATORS

  Castor Materials job-site coordinators will assist project operations, will ensure project timetables are met, and will maneuver trucks through urban Philadelphia. Job-site coordinators also provide a direct connection to the plant to make modifications to your order.

• CONCRETE

  Choose from our many varieties. 1,000-PSI – 14,000-PSI mixes, PENNDOT, NJDOT, PWD, LEED concrete mixes, flowable fill mixes, damp mixes, grout mixes, exposed aggregate, pump mixes, straight cement mixes, lightweight concrete mixes, self-consolidating concrete mixes, high-early strength mixes, high-performance concrete mixes.

• SAND

  Concrete sand for base layering and pipe/utility insulation. Washed masonry sand for projects requiring smooth texture finishes.

• STONE

  No. 57/2B (3/4”) stone, No. 81B (3/8”) stone, and No. 67 (1/2”) stone for concrete base layering. Silica pebbles and river jacks also available for exterior work.

• CRUSHED CONCRETE

  Crushed Concrete – Environmentally friendly 2A modified crushed concrete for recycled concrete aggregate (RCA).

• MASONRY

  Type I Portland cement, Type S mortar mix, or Type N bagged product. Masonry accessories include hand tools, plastic, wire mesh, and rebar.

• TOP SOIL

  Nutrient-rich screened topsoil for gardening projects. Packable unscreened topsoil to provide excellent filler with heavy consistency.

• PICKUP-DELIVERY

  Pick up your job materials in store or have them delivered to your work site.
