About Us – Castor Materials

Family owned and operated, focused on quality and service, Castor Materials is Philadelphia’s Concrete Supply Company.

Founded as a dry-batch plant on Castor Avenue in 2004, Castor Materials has grown to operate three plants and two locations in Philadelphia County that cater to both commercial and residential developments in the Delaware Valley. Our fleet of mixers includes over 48 front discharge mixers to supply 400 cubic yards hourly. We are also the only company in Philadelphia to use all three pozzolanic materials — concrete, slag, and fly ash.

We employ a full laboratory that continuously tests the products we sell. Castor’s lab technicians uphold strict standards in on-site testing and work with engineers and architects to produce positive results.

Castor Materials is a family-owned business started by a contractor to serve other contractors with their supply-mix needs. Our initial success as a small supplier allowed us to expand into larger commercial structures while keeping our commitment to infrastructure and utility clients. We owe all our achievements to our customers, who value Castor’s service and individual attention. No matter the size of the project, Castor can help you build it.
